Amazon Seller Filter Missing? Here's What to Do
If the Amazon seller filter is missing, start at ShippedAndSold.com. Choose Shipped & Sold by Amazon, enter the product you want, and select Search Amazon. The tool gives you a seller-filtered starting point without having to find Amazon's Seller menu first.
Before you buy, check the product page for both Sold by Amazon and Ships from Amazon. The exact offer you select is what matters, even when you started with a filtered search.
How to search when Amazon.com is missing from the seller filter
You might see no Seller section at all, or a list of sellers that doesn't include Amazon.com. Either way, Shipped and Sold puts the seller choice at the start of your search:
- Open Shipped and Sold.
- Select Shipped & Sold by Amazon if you want to buy directly from Amazon.
- Choose With affiliate link or Without affiliate link.
- Enter the product name or model and select Search Amazon.
- Open a result and confirm its seller and shipping details before adding it to your cart.
Amazon controls the results and available offers. The tool is a search shortcut, so keep checking the seller on the item you choose. It can't create an Amazon-sold offer if one isn't available.

What to check on Amazon itself
If you'd rather use Amazon's filters, try these checks:
- Choose a relevant department. If your search offers a department or category menu, select the one that fits your product, then look for Seller again.
- Expand the seller list. If a Seller section has a See more option, open it and look for Amazon.com.
- Check the product's available offers. If the filter still isn't available, open the product page and review who is selling it.
These are troubleshooting options, not a guaranteed fix for every search page. A missing filter alone doesn't tell you whether Amazon sells the product.
If you've been looking for “sort by seller,” look for a seller filter instead. Sorting changes the order of results; filtering narrows the results to a seller.
How to tell who sells and ships the item
On the product page, find the Sold by and Ships from details near the buying buttons. Amazon's ordering guide explains how these labels identify the selected offer:
- Sold by Amazon; Ships from Amazon: Amazon is both the seller and the company fulfilling the order. You may see Amazon.com used in the label.
- Sold by another business; Ships from Amazon: the seller is a third party, with Amazon handling fulfillment.
- Sold by another business; Ships from that business: a third party sells and ships the item.
A Prime badge doesn't identify the seller. Third-party offers can qualify for Prime too.
With Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), Amazon stores, packs and ships a seller's inventory, and handles customer service and returns. That is why “Ships from Amazon” can appear beside a different business in the Sold by field.
On Shipped and Sold, choose Shipped by Amazon (FBA) when Amazon handling fulfillment is your priority. Choose Shipped & Sold by Amazon when you want Amazon to be the seller as well. Our guide to items fulfilled by Amazon explains the difference in more detail.
What if the product page shows a different seller?
Look for other buying options, with labels such as Other sellers on Amazon or New & Used. When multiple sellers offer a product, compare the seller, condition, price and delivery details for each offer.
If an Amazon offer is available, select it. Check again after choosing a size, color, model or condition, and review the order details before placing the order.
If you can't find an Amazon offer, try another product or check back later. Don't assume the main buying button belongs to Amazon just because you reached the page through a filtered search.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my Amazon seller filter missing?
The missing menu doesn't reveal the reason. Check the department and any expanded seller list, or use Shipped and Sold to start a seller-filtered search. You can then check the product's offers directly.
Does Shipped and Sold guarantee every result is sold by Amazon?
No. Amazon controls its search results and offers. Always confirm the seller on the exact product and option you're buying.
Start with the seller you want
If buying directly from Amazon is your preference, ShippedAndSold.com makes that the first choice in your search. Select Shipped & Sold by Amazon, search for your product, and confirm the offer before ordering.
